This year, our team hosted an interactive Spill Response workshop that taught best practices for different sized spills that the waste management teams might encounter. We also developed a community highlights presentation, which gave each community who attended a chance to have their work celebrated and gave them a platform to share more details about their past year of work.
The event was very successful, with our team receiving positive feedback from attendees as well as the councilors that were present. We would like to thank all the waste coordinators for staying an extra day, and participating in our group discussions and activities. Each Waste Coordinator Meetup event we host leaves us with a good feeling, and this time was no exception!
